About the Photographer

I’m Maria, a photographer and artist based in Port St. Lucie, Florida, creating images that feel more like memories than moments. My work is inspired by light, nature, emotion, and the quiet poetry found in everyday life—those in-between glances, gentle gestures, and honest connections that can’t be staged. Sogni di Fiori means Dreams of Flowers, however, in the Italian language, it evokes a softer and more romantic feeling, calling to mind poetry, light, and the kind of beauty that exists for only fleeting a moment. I chose the name Sogni di Fiori because photographing flowers—even in the early days when all I had was my iPhone in hand—carried me through some of the most challenging moments of my life. Focusing on the small, quiet, ever-changing beauty found in nature brought me back to presence, to grounding, and to seeing the world with gentleness again. Noticing this, my husband gifted me my first camera one Christmas, and I never put it down. I was born in Italy and lived there until I was five, returning often as I grew up. Italian is my first language, and Italy's essence is deeply ingrained in my soul, it is where I first fell in love with art, romance, architecture, and the timeless beauty of the Renaissance era. That influence still lives in the way that I see light, color, and emotion today. Every session is approached with intention, artistry, and care. I don’t just document what you look like, I create images that feel like you.. timeless, romantic, and deeply personal. I would love to tell your story, one timeless frame at a time.
